August 2010- Rolls Royce Naval Marine

Acetarc Engineering are pleased to announce that we have received an order from Rolls Royce Naval Marine in the USA for the design and manufacture of a 50t capacity ladle complete with motor drive and radio remote control. The ladle will be used for casting large propellers in nickel aluminium bronze The ladle will have 3 pre-set rotation speeds via an inverter, to give precise control of the pouring and will have the facility for quick conversion to manual rotation should the need arise. This will be the largest motor drive geared ladle that Acetarc has manufactured to present and builds on the experience gained in supplying large capacity motorised ladles to customers such as S.E. Forge and Larsen & Toubro.

July 2010- Rademakers

Acetarc Engineering are pleased to announce the supply to Rademakers in the Netherlands of a specially designed lip-axis pouring unit at the end of July. The unit will be commissioned during the foundry's summer shut down and go into production later in August. The lip-axis pouring unit which features a man riding cab, allows the operator to move and tilt the pouring unit via hydraulics using proportional levers which give a high degree of control to the operator whilst the lip-axis pouring allows the unit to achieve a high level of accuracy for the pouring.
